Team FIXOR™ is pleased to announce that MREL is providing FIXOR™ to the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS) National Mine Action Office (NMAO) in Khartoum, Sudan. FIXOR™ is utilized to destroy landmines and unexploded ordnance in many countries around the world including: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, D.R. Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Rwanda, Somaliland, Thailand, and Zambia.

Team FIXOR™ is pleased to announce that MREL is providing additional quantities of FIXOR™ to the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) Cambodia with assistance from the Mine Action Team of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. MAG is one of the six founding Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, which coordinates the efforts of more than 1,300 associations in over 70 countries. The International Campaign was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997. MAG's programme in Cambodia started in 1992 and now employs 480 Cambodian civilians, including over 70 women deminers and over 50 amputee deminers.

Team FIXOR™ is pleased to announce that MREL is providing FIXOR™ and associated demolition accessories to the Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC) under a purchase agreement with the Canadian International Demining Corps and with assistance from the Mine Action Team of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. In Thailand, TMAC is a focal point for Humanitarian Mine Action under the authority of the National Mine Action Committee chaired by the Prime Minister of Thailand. TMAC's mandate includes the location, marking, identification, removal and destruction of landmines and unexploded ordnance.

Team FIXOR™ is pleased to announce that Dr. John Anderson, Manager of Explosives R&D, is presenting a paper entitled "FIXOR™ A New Approach to Neutralizing Landmines and Unexploded Ordnance" at the International Society of Explosives Engineers Annual Conference on Explosives and Blasting Technique in Orlando Florida, USA. Dr. Anderson will be presenting the physical and detonation characteristics of FIXOR™ along with photographs and descriptions of the results of FIXOR™ against a variety of anti-personnel and anti-tank landmines and unexploded ordnance up to the size of a Mk 82 500 lb. bomb.
